Marthrown Camping
Tucked away in the forest we have a woodland camping area. As part of the site there is an outdoor (but private) hot shower, a dry composting loo and urinal all set in beautiful wooden buildings.
New in August 2009 is a washing up area and plan to make a cooking area for Spring 2010.

back. Camping in forest, hot tub under the stars and sauna after a day
on the trails, BBQ and kitchen are great and nothing better than the
compost toilet and gas shower to feel clean in the morning. Will be

Unfortunately BBQs and open fires are not allowed in the camping area as it is in the middle of the forest but there is a BBQ area for you to use down on the front lawn. Sorry we do not allow petrol/paraffin stoves or lanterns in the forest.
The camping area is located about 75 yards from the car park but we do provide wheelbarrows!
Many seasoned campers have referred to this site as having the joys of wild camping with the convenience of facilities and no risk of being moved on!
