Camping Area
If you are looking for an unusual campsite in Dumfries and Galloway we may be just what you have been hoping for. The first thing you notice about the camping area is the sensational views over the Lake District Fells and Solway Firth, and the feel of truly wild camping. Imagine coming out of your tent first thing in the morning, to stunning views over to the Lake District in all its glory, or star gazing at the wonderfully dark skies!
As part of the camping area there are also the following facilities;
- 2 dry composting toilets
- A private outdoor hot shower
- A washing up area
- Cooking shelter
- A designated campfire space
- Logs are for sale either by the crate or the wheelbarrow load
- Sauna and hot tub can be available £40 for 2 hours exclusive use
The campfire space is subject to closure in the event of an extended drought or a large number of tents.
All of our facilities are set in rustic wooden buildings.
We are a dog friendly campsite and Bramble, our on site canine looks forward to meeting them
It is possible to drive to the camping area to drop kit off.
